Opening your wallet
Access your wallet details from anywhere in the application:1
Locate the wallet button
In the top-right corner of the header, find the wallet button that displays:
- A green pulsing dot (connection indicator)
- A wallet icon
- Your shortened address (e.g.,
0x1234...5678) - A chevron indicating it’s clickable

Click to open
Click the wallet button to open the wallet details dialog.
- Clicking the X button
- Clicking outside the dialog
- Pressing the Escape key
Understanding your account address
Your account address is displayed prominently at the top of the wallet dialog.Copying your address

Find the account address section
Below the “Your Account” header, you’ll see your full account address.

Click the Copy button
Click the Copy button next to the address.

Confirmation
A confirmation message appears when the address is successfully copied to your clipboard.
Account address vs. session address
OneBalance uses two types of addresses:-
Account address: Your OneBalance smart contract account (shown in the wallet dialog)
- Where your funds are stored
- Used to receive deposits
- Aggregates balances across all chains

Session address: Your Privy embedded wallet address (used internally)
- Used to sign transactions
- Not visible in the UI
- Manages your account address
Always use your account address when receiving funds, not the session address.
Viewing portfolio summary
The portfolio summary shows your aggregated wealth across all supported blockchains.Portfolio value card
The green-highlighted card displays:- Total Portfolio Value: Your total holdings in USD
- Asset count: Number of different tokens you hold
- Chain count: Number of blockchains with your assets
- Refresh button: Manual refresh icon
Understanding the numbers
- Total value is calculated in real-time using current market prices
- Asset count only includes tokens with positive balances
- Chain count shows unique blockchains across all your assets
Refreshing balances
To update your portfolio:1
Click the refresh icon
In the portfolio summary card, click the circular refresh icon in the top-right.

Wait for update
The icon spins while fetching updated balances from all chains.

View updated data
All balances and values refresh to show current information.
Balances automatically refresh when you open the wallet dialog or complete transactions. Manual refresh is useful if you’ve received tokens while the dialog is open.
Viewing asset balances
The Asset Balances section lists all tokens you hold, aggregated across all chains.Asset list overview
Each asset card shows:- Token icon: Visual identifier for the token
- Token symbol: e.g., USDC, ETH, USDT
- Chain count: Number of chains holding this token
- Total value: USD value of all holdings of this token
- Total amount: Combined balance across all chains
- Expand button: Chevron to view chain-by-chain breakdown
Sorting
Assets are automatically sorted by:- USD value (highest to lowest)
- Only assets with positive value are shown
Expanding asset details
To see which chains hold a specific token:1
Find the asset
Locate the token in the Asset Balances list.

Click the chain count
Click the text showing “X chain(s)” with the chevron icon.

View chain distribution
The asset card expands to show:
- Chain name: e.g., Arbitrum, Ethereum, Optimism
- Chain icon: Visual identifier for the blockchain
- Balance on chain: Amount of the token on that specific chain
- Value on chain: USD value on that chain
- Percentage: What % of your total holdings of this token

Collapse details
Click the chain count again to collapse the expansion.
Empty wallet state
If you haven’t deposited any tokens yet, you’ll see:- A wallet icon
- “No assets yet” message
- Explanation text

Copy your account address
Use the Copy button in the Account Address section.

Send tokens from another wallet or exchange
- Choose any supported token (USDC, ETH, USDT, etc.)
- Send to your OneBalance account address
- Use any supported chain (Arbitrum, Ethereum, etc.)

Wait for confirmation
- Transactions typically confirm in 1-5 minutes
- Balances update automatically

Refresh to see your balance
Open the wallet dialog to see your updated portfolio.

Real-time price updates
Asset values update based on:- Current market prices for each token
- Real-time exchange rates
- Aggregated across all chains
Multi-chain aggregation
OneBalance automatically:- Scans all supported chains for your assets
- Aggregates balances of the same token
- Calculates total value in USD
- Shows chain-by-chain distribution
Supported chains
Your wallet can hold assets on:- Arbitrum
- Ethereum Mainnet
- Optimism
- Polygon
- Base
- And other supported networks
You don’t need to manually add chains or switch networks. OneBalance detects assets on all supported chains automatically.
Transaction history
While the wallet dialog focuses on balances, you can view transaction history:1
Navigate to History tab
Click the History tab in the main navigation menu.

View all transactions
See a complete list of:
- All swaps you’ve performed
- All transfers you’ve sent
- Transaction status (completed, pending, failed)
- Transaction details and block explorer links

Security tips
Protecting your wallet
- Never share your Privy authentication credentials
- Use strong passwords for your authentication method (email, Google, etc.)
- Enable two-factor authentication on your authentication accounts
- Verify addresses before sending large amounts
Safe deposit practices
- Always copy-paste addresses instead of typing
- Send a small test deposit first for large amounts
- Verify the transaction on the block explorer
- Wait for confirmations before assuming deposit success
Troubleshooting
Balances not showing
- Click the refresh icon in the portfolio summary
- Ensure you sent tokens to the correct account address
- Check the transaction on the blockchain explorer
- Wait for blockchain confirmations (can take several minutes)
Address won’t copy
- Try clicking the Copy button again
- Manually select and copy the address text
- Check your browser’s clipboard permissions
Portfolio value is $0.00
- You haven’t deposited any tokens yet
- Deposits may still be confirming on-chain
- Try refreshing balances
- Check if you sent to the correct address
Can’t see specific token
- Ensure the token is supported by OneBalance
- Check if the token has a positive balance
- Try refreshing balances
- Verify the deposit transaction completed
Chain distribution not expanding
- Click directly on the chain count text
- Ensure you have balances on multiple chains
- Try closing and reopening the wallet dialog
Logging out
To disconnect your wallet:1
Open wallet dialog
Click your wallet button in the header.

Scroll to bottom
Find the Logout button at the bottom of the dialog.

Click Logout
Click the red Logout button.

Confirm logout
Your session ends immediately and you return to the logged-out state.
Logging out doesn’t affect your funds. You can log back in anytime with the same authentication method to access your wallet.
